The Baja Project...

The mission of Baylor Baja is not all about vehicle racing. The main objective is to provide Baylor engineering students the opportunity to learn how mechanical and electrical systems work outside of the classroom. Engineering students gain invaluable hands-on experience in both design and fabrication, all the while learning how systems can come together to develop into a whole. We are dedicated to honing the skills of the engineering students at Baylor and preparing them for any challenge that may come his or her way. Building an off-road performance vehicle is the perfect way to do so.
